A bit of geography and history:
Liceo Libertador O'Higgins is located in Iquique, Chile. It is a harbor town belonging to the Tarapaca region on the northerm part of the country. This region is particularly famous for its mines of salcite, its desert and sea coasts.

The town is framed by huge dunes where it is possible to do parasailing. It also has two main beaches really beautiful and good for surfing such as Playa Cavancha and Playa Brava (very dangerous)

Plaza Arturo Prat -main square, and its theatre.

"Iquique"

                                                             The high-school's patch

The school is located on Baquedano, the oldest street in town. Its sidewalks are made of wood and have been preserved since the end of the 19th century.
